A massage directly in your own home

A home visit from Ambi Massage involves a massage therapist travelling to your own home to provide a massage treatment.

Home visits are usually arranged with individuals who have difficulty travelling due to limited mobility, lack of time to travel or simply prefer treatment at home.

There are a number of benefits of home visits for the individual such as not having to travel to get high quality massage treatment, plus enjoying a relaxing treatment in the comfort of your own home.

Home Massage Considerations

  • The therapist will need to be able to park nearby the property to unload equipment.

    Please let the therapist know about access before appointment.

    Equipment includes portable massage table, a bag of laundry.

    Note the therapist can carry this without aid but may need a few trips to the car.

  • A clean quiet space in the your home is required to set up massage table this is approx 4’ x 8’ (1.5m x 2.5m).

    If this is in a communal space, it needs to be made private for the session. This includes free from other members of the household and pets.

  • A request of a lateral flow to be taken by the client before the appointment is due.

    Respectful ask for the massage area to be cleaned before arrival of therapist.

  • Note that a home visit costs more than a standard appointment. Travel time and set up time needs to be factored into the cost. This is will discussed prior to appointment.

  • There are security protocols in place for the safety of the therapist and the client. If the therapist should not feel comfortable about the home visit they will respectively decline delivering the service.
